Loom for sale: The floor loom is a vintage, "Cambridge" loom from the Reed Loom Company of Springfield, Ohio. It's a 4 harness, 6 treadle, counter-balance loom, with a 48" weaving width and a sectional 2.5" warp beam with a 12" diameter. Some of the wooden sectional pegs have broken off but should be fairly easy to drill and glue in replacements. At some point, the loom was damaged or otherwise modified, however it is in working condition. I am asking $600 for it and I am located in Jefferson City, MO. I am willing to transport the loom as long as I still have a vehicle when it sells. Pictures are available.

I have a loom that I would like to sell. I am not a weaver and just ended up with this loom. It is currently disassembled. It is 4 feet wide. I can send pictures of the parts laid out on a tarp.
I know that I have about 8 extra harneses and a bunch of rag shuttles with it. A used loom web site suggested I try to sell the harnesses and rag shuttles separately but I want this all to go for one lot because I don't want to mess with it. That guy thought that it is all there and it might be some kind of reed or Newcomb counterbalance loom but was not sure. The only marks on it are "WPA". The loom is supposed to have parts that are as much as 175 years old. The beater is made of maple as are some other parts.
It is currently stored in an overhead bin in my garage and I don't really want to take it down for a non-serious looker. I am wanting $200 for it all, including the extra harneses and the rag shuttles. Someone will probably want to set it up and restore the finish on it.

I am a special education teacher. I work with 3rd-6th grade students with emotional and behavior problems. I am interested in buying a loom for rug making with my students for therapeutic reasons. The school’s art teacher and I are developing a service learning program for my students which will provide them the opportunity to be productive contributors in our community.
I don’t have a large budget and am working from a grant. If there is anyone with such a loom and or materials, please contact me.
